Manifesto

Software should respect your time, attention, and wallet — in that order.

A short list of things we believe, written down so you can hold us to them.

  1. Finite is a feature.

An email that ends is better than a feed that doesn't. A bucket with a clear price is better than a calculator with twelve sliders.

  2. Pricing should be a sentence.

If a normal person can't tell what your product costs without booking a call, you're hiding something.

  3. Attention is rent.

Every notification, every red dot, every "you have unread items" is a charge against your customers. Charge less of it.

  4. Small is sustainable.

We don't want to be the biggest. We want to still be here in ten years, doing the same two things, slightly better.

  5. A human answers.

Email hello@breifd.com. A person reads it.
